The new easy to use hot stick tester tests tools wet or dry. The tester meets OSHA 1910-269 for testing "in service" tools (wet test) and new tools (dry test). The tester has a selector switch for wet or dry and a dual range scale which gives the operator leakage values in microamps.
Utilizing 2,500 volts output, the meter is calibrated to indicate leakage values that would be present if 75kV AC were applied to a 12 inch section of the fibreglass tool for the wet test and 100kV AC per foot for the dry test.
Portable and lightweight for ease of use. Two models are available for use on 120 volt or 220 volt systems.
The tester comes complete with a padded carrying/storage case and directions for proper use. A testing bar is also included to ensure the tester is working properly.
BATTERY POWERED HOT STICK TESTER
- Sticks can be tested at jobsite if no power is present.
