S&C Tripsaver®II Cutout-Mounted Recloser

The TripSaver II Cutout-Mounted Recloser is a self-powered, electronically controlled single-phase recloser designed to replace conventional fuse cutouts on overhead distribution laterals. It automatically restores service after temporary faults (such as those caused by vegetation, animals, or storms), reducing unnecessary outages and avoiding maintenance “truck rolls.”

This device is ideal for upgrading overhead networks to a more reliable protection strategy, combining the advantages of fuse-saving and fuse-blowing in a single unit.
